Ranthambore National Park

Best time to visit Ranthambore National Park:

The best time to visit the Ranthambore sanctuary is in April, May, and June months when a dearth of water encourages wild animals to come into an open area. In the monsoon season from July to September this national park is closed as the park gets filled with lots of water which stops wild animals, tigers from coming out.

Wildlife:

This sanctuary is home to various reptiles, plants, and birds. of which animals. Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopard, Sloth Bear, Mugger Crocodile, Nilgai, Wild Boar, Samber, Hyena, etc. animals you can spot in this sanctuary.

Birdlife:

You may locate different types of bird in this sanctuary-like Flamingos, Woodpeckers, Treepies, Wagtails, Indian Gray Hornbills, Parakeets, Owl, Pelicans, Sandpipers, Falcons, Munias, Mynas, Eagles, Snipes, Wagtails, Pipits, Sandpipers, Egrets, Storks, Pittas, Ioras, Minivets, Asian Palm Swift, Bee Eaters, Pigeon, Common Kingfishers, Cormorants, etc.

Things To Do/See

  1. You can see and capture Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian Gazelle (Chinkara), Striped Hyena, Indian gray wolf, Indian Jackal, Indian Fox in your camera.
  2. You may like Hawa Mahal which is located only 191 km from this park. This Jaipur palace contains 953 windows. Since there is no foundation, the structure stands at a leaning position at 87 degrees which attracts tourists to see this Mahal.
