Pashan Lake is an artificial (man-made) lake placed close to the Mumbai-Pune highway and 10 km from the middle of Pune, Maharashtra. It is one of the best places and picnic spot in Pune for all of the seasons for every age of peoples. This lake has entrances one from the highway and any other from Jai Bhawani Garden. This vicinity is spread in 40 square kilometers area and well-known for birds watching, photoshoot (like pre-wedding), photography, boating and for relaxation.

After the monsoon in winter, from December to February you could spot the wide variety of migratory birds which journey to this lake. We suggest touring Pashan lake in the early morning or in the evening.
I love to travel, explore places, visit historical places, beaches and everything which I can cover on my bike. I think people must visit at least 10-15 places in a year where they never traveled before.
