Okayama Friendship Garden - Pu La Deshpande Udyan

The Okayama garden is located on Sinhagad road Pune. This Japanese style garden is one of the largest gardens in Pune which builds on a 10 acres area and best place to visit in Pune. Garden is also known with the name Pu La Deshpande Udyan. It named after a very famous Marathi writer and most humourist person Pu La Deshpande from Maharashtra, India who honored by the Indian government with the "Padma Bhushan" award in 1990.

Biggest Japanese Garden in Pune:

This biggest Japanese garden is extremely well-developed and organized with trees and flowering plants. Visitors can see the garden landscape. Visitors are not allowed to walk on the lawn. The garden is very beautiful and clean and has a natural flow of water from the canal which keeps the water of ponds clean.
