It is one of the smallest flora and fauna and wildlife sanctuaries in Pune district of Maharashtra, with an area of 5.14 km and occupied by grasslands and barren region areas. This sanctuary is very close to Pune and you can plan one day trip also. But if you want to stay at night and looking for camping to spot gray wolf and Indian fox, you need to take approval from the forest department.
