Magnificent Harihar Fort (Nashik) For Trekking

The fort was built between the 9th and 14th centuries by the Yadava Dynasty. This Maharashtra fort was crucial in restricting trade routes from passing via the Gonda Ghat. Harihar Killa had been attacked and captured by different invaders since its establishment until it was taken over by the British Army.

Harihar fort is also famous with name "Harshagad" located near Trimbak city of Nashik district of state Maharashtra, India. Fort is only 40 kilometres from Nashik City, 48 kilometres from Igatpuri, and 40 kilometres from Ghoti city.

This Nashik fort is exclusively used for trekking and see lots of crowds during monsoon season (June to August). People also visit this fort after monsoon from October to February.
